At 5:50 the next afternoon, a black sedan pulled up in front of the apartment building. The chauffeur stepped out and opened the rear door for me. Noah was sitting inside. He was dressed in a black suit, his tie perfectly knotted. The gaze behind his gold-rimmed glasses slowly moved from my face down to the burgundy dress I was wearing. "Does it not look right?" I glanced down at myself. I bought this dress three years ago. Last night, I tried it on four times before making sure the zipper still went up. "It looks perfect." Noah shifted slightly to make room. After I got in, he lowered his voice and added, "I just didn't expect my wife to be this stunning." The door closed behind me.
