[WILSON'S HOUSE]
The constant ringing of the doorbell made Wilson and Yvonne storm down the stairs. Before they could reach the sitting room, they saw a man wearing a suit and holding some paper. Turns out their bodyguard opened the door.
"Sir he—"
Wilson raised his hand, stopping the bodyguard from speaking.
His eyes were on the man. "Who're you?"
"Advocate Silas Graham."
"Does our house look like the place you'll run your business?" Yvonne asked, crossing her arms above her breasts.
"My apologies if I caused both of you any inconvenience, but I came from the court."
"How is that supposed to benefit me?"
"Here." Silas stretched his hand and handed him the file he came with.
Wilson collected it with a furrowed brow. "What's in there?"
"It's best you see it yourself. My client will be expecting your response." Silas left the house.
Wilson immediately opened the file and went straight to where important things were always written.
He read, his eyes widening. "Divorce papers?"
"Di... Let me see." She snatched the file away from him and read the documents. "Sapphire is filing for a divorce?"
Wilson burst into laughter. "Did my older brother make her do it?"
"You're laughing at such an important situation," Yvonne frowned. "This is serious, Wilson."
"And what should I do? Cry?"
"Stop with the jokes."
"Yes I'm joking." The smile disappeared from his lips. "It hasn't been a week, and Tristan is already getting into her head."
"What are you going to do? Sign it?"
Wilson smirked evilly. "Time to call my father-in-law, it's been long."
He took out his cell phone and pressed the call button.
"Father-in-law?"
"It's been a while, let's meet."
"At the company."
Wilson ended the call, that evil smirk still dancing on his lips.
"Stanley? Fill me in."
"I'm going to weaponize this paper."

[TRISTAN'S PENTHOUSE]
The vibration of Sapphire's phone made her stretch herself before waking up.
Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes repeatedly to remove the sleep. Her finger came in contact with it, and she picked it up lazily.
Alyssa.
The name flashed boldly on the screen.
"Lys?"
"Did you switch off your phone on purpose?" Alyssa asked from the background.
"No, I didn't," Sapphire lied. "My phone battery died, and I had decided to charge it. While waiting for it, I didn't know when I slept off. Sorry," Sapphire pouted.
"Are you sure? You never ignore my calls."
Sapphire smiled softly. Detective would suit Alyssa.
"Have I ever lied to you?" Sapphire replied.
"I trust you. I just wanted to be sure you're fine."
"I am. What do you think could be wrong?"
"Anything. Before you married Wilson, Tracy never liked you. There's nothing wrong in me finding out if she's giving you a hard time."
"Don't worry, even if she wants to taunt me, she can't. Not again."
"Hmm," Alyssa gave a weird hum. "Is Wilson now choosing you over his reputation?"
"Com'on, I can fight for myself." Sapphire hissed. "And no, it's not Wilson."
Sapphire shivered at the sound of something clattering on the floor. "Lys, you okay? What's that sound?"
"I'm fine, I got so excited," Alyssa laughed. "Tell me. Do you have somebody else backing you up?"
"That will be a topic for another day."
"No, Sapph... You can't put me in a suspense and leave me hanging."
"Oh, I'll explain everything to you when I'm ready. For now, how're you doing? Getting more clients?"
"Yeah, thanks to your wedding, more clients reached out."
Sapphire's phone buzzed with a text. "Um, Lys, I have to go."
"So soon! We only just started talking."
Sapphire smiled at the way Alyssa's expression would be. "If I want, but you know how married life can be."
"You don't have to rub it in my face. At least I got dicks."
"Geez." Sapphire shook her head, ended the call and looked at her phone.
A text from her painting store.
I tried reaching you, but your number is busy. Today is the last day for Mr. Donald's work.
Sapphire typed back: Set up the store I'm coming.
Done with her phone, she kept it on the bed stand and tossed the duvet to the side.
Immediately her feet touched the floor, she stopped her steps and darted her eyes around the room.
She didn't have a proper look when she came in yesterday, but today, she's going to admit the room is better than Wilson's. The room was painted in dark grey, even the furniture was also grey.
Is grey his favorite color?
She shook her head, not allowing any confusion to creep in. Going into the bathroom, she understood why Yasmine had said everything she needed was inside.

[S.S CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISE]
"Sir, Wilson is here to see you," Riley informed after making sure Stanley had given her his permission to enter his office.
Stanley's eyes flickered to the man whom he was having a business discussion with. "We'll continue another day, my son-in-law is here."
"But—"
"No buts," Stanley said in his final tone.
The man had no option but to leave.
Stanley faced Riley. "Send Wilson in."
A few seconds later, Wilson came in.
"I have been expecting you since you texted. Sit," Stanley said warmly.
"I didn't come to sit, Mr. Smith."
Stanley noticed the change in Wilson's voice. He sat up. "Did something happen? You called out of the blue."
"This." Wilson threw the file on the table.
Stanley looked confused as he picked up the file. "What's inside?"
Wilson didn't reply as he let the man see for himself.
"Divorce papers? Who sent you this?"
"Your daughter did!"
"S... Sapphire?"
"Do you have any other daughters?"
"B...but how's this possible? What's going on? The divorce—"
"I didn't come here to listen to you act confused." He placed his palm on the table and looked at Stanley, eyeball to eyeball. "You'll have to do anything to convince her. You wouldn't want to see the end of our agreement, right?"
Stanley locked his jaw. "You have my word. Sapphire will come back to you."
Wilson's lips curled upward. "That's what I wanted to hear. Have a nice day."
Immediately after he left, Stanley got his phone and began typing to Sapphire.
Stanley: Come home immediately!
