Meanwhile, Charlotte took fifty of her own men and headed towards the north gate. She knew that the Mirage troop was waiting there, ready to attack. She had to keep them at bay for as long as possible, until the Tumbleton soldiers could come to their aid.
As they reached the gate, Charlotte ordered her men to take up positions on the walls. Half of then set up the stones and oil up the top of the gate, ready to make it rain down the gate once enemy approaches.
