Chapter Three
Damien went to the throne room and ordered the guard he saw to summon the elders so he could have a little talk with them .
The guard obeyed and went ahead to do what he was told .
The elders arrived after some minutes and they were surprised to see a stranger seating on the king's throne they were rather furious.
" What effontry this bastard has to seat on the king's throne ." one of the elders named Erold said .
" And what effontry you have to speak to your king like that ." Damien said with a blank expression
" And who do you think you are ?" Erold said again. The guard was signaling him to keep quiet but he just brushed them off .
" How about I show you who I am ." Damien said and before Erold knew it he started bleeding from his nose and dropped dead .
" Now who else wants to know who I am ." Damien said with a smirk . The other elders just kept shut and stared at him
" Good now let's me move to the point . I called you here to discuss the day of my coronation. and also that date would be the day of the queen's coronation."
" Ok your highness we would discuss that and get back to you tomorrow if that's fine by you ." the only females part of the elders named Irene said politely not wanting to bleed to death like Erold.
" Ok then you are dismissed." Damien said and they all left .

Night fell and Beverly just sat there on the bed not knowing what to do next .
She heard a knock on her door and she told the person to come in .
" Beverly you there ." Damien came in and said .
" What do you want ." she asked hoping to hear a reasonable answer this time .
" I just wanted to kiss you good night ." he said with a smirk .
" ok well I'm leaving." she said and got up and made her way to the door .
" And where do you think you are going?"
" Home to where I belong . "
Damien blocked her was and pinned her to the wall , his eyes burning like flames
" You don't leave until I say so , do you hear me ?" he said in a threatening tone.
" Yo.... you are hurting me , ok I've heard ."
Damien realized what he was doing and quickly released her from his tight hold .
Beverly left the room and went to seat on the swing in the garden .
She sat there and the good memories flushed back in.
FLASH BACK

" Daddy ." four years old Beverly called her dad .
" Yes sweet heart ." her sad replied
" What her those shiny things up there ?" she said out of curiosity.
" They are called stars and one day when I leave I would become one of them and I would watch over you ."
" But you won't leave right ?"
" No , I would always be by your side ."
BACK TO PRESENT TIME
Beverly just sat there as tears streamed down her eyes . She missed her dad so much .
After some time Damien came to join her and sat beside her on the swing .
" I'm so........ sorry " he said the word feeling kind of irritated, he couldn't remember the last time he said those words to anyone.
" it's fine ." she replied back . She soon fell asleep and Damien took her to their joint chamber to have some sleep . He laid her down and slept beside her .

" dad no I. ant leave you , dad please ." Beverly said in her sleep as she had a night mare .
Damien held her closer and comforted her . She soon calmed down and went back to sleep .
" Well isn't it Lucifer's new lover ." someone said from the dark .
" Rasmus what is it ." he asked irritated.
" Nothing just wanted to see your new pet ." Rasmus said .
. ." I'm not in the mood for your stupid tricks Rasmus." Damien said annoyed .
Rasmus just chuckled. " Beverly isn't it . The girl whom you took all she loves and ever since started stalking her ." Rasmus said with a smirk
" But does she know you her the monster in her night mares ." Rasmus continued .
Damien made sure Beverly was still sleeping and got down from the bed .
" ohh I'm scared ." Rasmus said teasingly
" Rasmus get out now . " Damien said trying to control his anger .
" what ever you say your highness but I want you to know that I would be back ." she said and vanished .
Damien went to his study and spotted a mini bar on one side of the room he took a bottle and gulped it down . He knew Rasmus wouldn't let it go so easily and he knew the only way was toake a deal with him .
And he also knew Rasmus doesn't make small deals . He went back to the room and just laid there thinking of his next plan .
When he got back he met Beverly already awake and already sat up .
" You are awake ." he said like nothing had happened.
" Yeah I heard voices in my sleep ." she said looking around.
" Must have been in your dream ." he said
"why don't you go back to bed . " he said further .
He went ahead to lay beside her . She laid back down and went back to sleep .
Damien just laid there thinking of his next plan .
