“Let’s go to the lake, it seems to be where things for us happen.” I told Cara after she talked about contacting the ancestors.
“Yeah, Star seems to be content there too.” She said.
I grabbed her arm and we walked out the pack house towards our spot at the lake.
“Jace, slow down!” Cara said.
I stopped and turned towards her. I realized I was pulling her with me as I walked.
