“Fireflies! I want to chase them, please!” Star whined in my head as soon as we saw the flutters of the lights dancing around in the air.
“No, you can’t.” I said to her.
“Please! I want Thunder to chase them with me.” Star continued to whine.
“Ugh, maybe after, but not now Star!” I snapped at her.
“Ok, Thunder is laughing in my head, what is going on?” Jace asked me.
“Star wants to chase the fireflies with Thunder and I told her no. She is so much like a little kid sometimes.” I grumbled to Jace.
“I’m not a kid!” Star whined in my head
“Then stop acting like one then.” I told her.
Jace smirked and said, “Maybe she is practice for when we have our own pups.”
Pups? I’m not ready for pups yet. Hell I’m barely used to being his mate and he is bringing up pups?
