Jace and I made our way back to the pack house. He mindlinked his father to ask where Alpha Peter was.
Jace got furious when he learned that Alpha Peter was under guard in one of the guest bedrooms and not in the dungeon. He demanded to see his father in his office.
I’m looking at these two dominant men staring at each other. Finally I could not take the silence in the room.
“Alpha, with all due respect, Alpha Peter tried to kill Jace. If I had not…” I started to say.
“I am aware of what happened. What you two fail to understand is Peter is an Alpha. We can not just put another Alpha in the dungeon with a random rogue.” Jace's father said.
“He tried to attack a future Alpha, and almost killed the future Luna. What I know is that it is an act of war against both packs. Is it not?
