“Jace, are you ok?” I asked him. He was silent when I told about the library.
“Yeah, sorry I was talking to Thunder. He said we need to learn from history. Does that make sense to you?” He said to me.

Why is nothing simple? I wondered. I felt Jace get closer to me and the sparks started to erupt on my chin as I felt him lift my head up to look him in the eyes.
