I could feel everyone in this dining hall watching me and Jace sit down with Gary, who is the gardener in this pack. For an Alpha sitting not only with his omega mate but also at an omega table is simply not done.
I know Jace was sending a message to his father by doing this. I looked over to the Alpha table and I could see the anger coming off of the Alpha.
“Enough of this foolishness Jace, you and your mate will see me in my office now!” The alpha shouted through a mindlink with me and Jace.
“Jace?” I said to him as I grabbed his hand.
“He won’t hurt you, I won’t let him.” Jace said.
Jace then turned to Gary, who looked nervous. “I won’t let my father do anything to you either, thank you for letting me and my luna sit with you during breakfast.” Jace said to him.
