“The moon goddess?” I asked Cara.
“Yes, she talked to me, what do you know about demons?” Cara asked.
“Enough to know not to make any deals with them.” I told her.
“Well, The Alpha or your father didn’t get that lesson.” Cara said.
“Cara, come with me, let’s get something into your belly.” Mauve said.
I watched as Mauve helped Cara up and left to go to the kitchen.
I looked at Morris and asked him, “So someone made a deal with a Demon?”
“Jace, have you been at school lately?” Morris asked me.
“You are changing the subject. To answer you, no, neither has Cara actually.” I told him.
“I think you two should go to your classes. Let me figure out this Demon thing. If you are to be the Alpha of this pack and unite it, you need your schooling.” Morris told me.
