Sophia stared at the smile on Saige's lips, a tiny, selfish part of her, that she never knew existed in her, telling her to tell Saige it was her fiancée she loved. It told her to snatch the smile away from her. “It’s no one,” Sophia replied before she could do or say something she would regret.
She didn't understand why she was suddenly behaving like that. Maybe, that was how love worked...?
"But what you were search-,"
Sophia cut her off. “It’s nothing serious,” She turned her back to her.
Saige was aware Sophia was lying. She clearly knew who Sophia was in love with and she hated to think of it. She had only asked her who it was because she wanted confirmation but it seemed Sophia's reply didn't matter because her body language was enough to clear Saige's doubt.
