No one had the right to insult his mother. He slowly raised his head. His eyes locked onto the female disciple. For a split second... She stopped breathing. A terrifying pressure swept over her. He wanted to fight back but was powerless. Yan Hua walked toward the Oracle Stone. His heartbeat echoed loudly in his ears. Slowly... He placed his palm against it. BOOM! A blinding golden pillar erupted into the heavens. The entire sky turned gold. Everyone shot to their feet. "Please pinch me maybe I'm dreaming," The female disciple who mocked Yan hua earlier. Even the elders stared with widened eyes. "What is this?" "A Heavenly-grade spiritual root?" "No..." Before anyone could react— The golden light vanished. The Oracle Stone went completely dark. Silence. Then... Laughter erupted once again. "I knew it." "A servant could never possess such talent." "The stone must have malfunctioned." Several elders exchanged uneasy looks. Only the Grand Elder remained silent. His eyes never left the Oracle Stone. "...No." His voice was barely above a whisper. "That wasn't a malfunction." Everyone turned toward him.
