The frenetic sound of two-wheeled motorized vehicles breaks the silence at a crossroads in an area of the city of Bandung, specifically the Soreang area. Soreang is located 20 km south of Bandung City.
This area is the link between the city of Bandung and Ciwidey. During the Dutch colonial era, a railroad was built across the city to transport tea and kina plantations from Ciwidey. This rail line is connected to the railway line in Bandung City. However, now this line is no longer active. Soreang is now connected to the national toll road network via the Soreang-Pasirkoja Toll Road. Soreang is known as the largest Confection center area in Bandung Regency. Spread in many places, including the Sadu, Panyirapan, and Cebek areas.
