It was Monday morning, the rest of the weekend had been crappy. Riley hadn’t spoken to Tiffany since the game that Saturday. Tiffany had dropped her close to a million texts and calls, but she hadn’t picked or replied.
First period, Mrs. Marcelle class was unusually long today. Probably cause,Riley had switched seats and had been avoiding Tiffany she walked into the class.
When Tiffany came in, she saw Riley seated at the back. She had tried to make eye contact but Riley refused to look up. Tiffany was about to go meet her but Mrs. Marcelle walked in and they had to settle down.
After the class, Tiffany walked up to Riley.
“Riley, I’m sorry. Are you going to ignore me forever?”
Riley didn’t say a word, she picked her books and bag and left. Tiffany sighed.
