t was Monday morning. Tiffany was back to school. She needed to talk to Mrs. Marcella after class. She couldn’t be project partners with Cassie.
“Hey Tiff, heard you were the life of Brad’s party. Too bad I missed it. Guess I’ll see you at mine.” Trent, a major player on the football team, told Tiffany as he passed her and Riley in the hallway on their way to class.
“Did you just get an invite to Trent’s party?” Riley squealed. “Oh my gosh Tiff, I’ve been waiting for this moment my entire life. You’ve become popular.”
“It’s no big deal Riley.” Tiffany said without the same enthusiasm.
“Of course it’s a big deal. You just changed your social status in one weekend. This is such a proud moment for me.” Riley gushed.
“Yo Tiff, that was awesome what you did at the party. See you around.”
