"Fina, it's time," Nicky says, stepping into my room. "Holy sh*t, you are smoking hot all the time but in that dress you are off the charts," she says. I throw my head back and laugh. "Thanks, I still don't understand why I had to wear such a fancy dress. It's not like I'm going to be up on stage with the two of you." Something flashes in her eyes and I step toward her. "Nicky, what the hell was that look about? What aren't you telling me?" "Nothing, we need to head downstairs to meet Zane," she says.
I say her name in warning. "The Shadow Pack were invited to the ceremony since we have an alliance," she says. My heart starts to race and I stumble back. She reaches her hand out to steady me. "Why the hell didn't you tell me before now?" "We didn't know if he would be here?
