Charlotte had to go out and wait outside the ward.
As soon as she saw Joan come out, Charlotte asked about George's situation.
"Still in a coma. The doctor said he will wake up in a day or two."
Joan patted Charlotte on her shoulder and comforted her, "Don't take it to heart. Your grandma was also worried about your grandpa. So don't blame her for saying that to you."
"No, I won't," Charlotte said lightly.
But Charlotte kept wondering if it was because of her that her grandpa got hospitalized?
Was it because I took his painting? Grandpa was in a bad mood, and that was why he got CVST? Charlotte thought.
If that's the case, I'm the one who caused all this!
"I'll go to the doctor and ask about your grandpa's condition. Come with me?" Joan asked Charlotte.
