“She’s a criminal. Her sole existence should be a crime to the society.”
Miller took out his phone. “You said that she was Nick’s friend from college?”
“He said he met a friend named Lucy a few days ago. Maybe that’s her name.” James didn’t even know why he listened to Nick when he told him he had set him up on a blind date.
Nick knew him for years. James wasn’t that sure about that part though. Apparently, they met when Nick was still in college. They had some common friends and would occasionally hang out, but they weren’t that close back then. James however, didn’t remember anything about him.
