5 -Is he cheating?

I am just about to get ready to go. I got class at 10 am and plan to go to the library first. I take my apartment keys and my coffee tumbler. I open my phone to see the schedule. I always like to do thing in order and plan beforehand. So today, I got class until 5 pm and then after that I'll have part time in the cafe. I'll grab lunch with Kate. before the part time cafe start.

I become besties with Kate, even we are not in the same major. I took english literature, when Kate take data sciences major. But, most of this time I spend a lot of time with her. Okay, enough for thinking and planning. I need to get going now.

When I step out the apartment and about to lock the door. I heard my neighbor come out also with me.

Why? Hufft.

Then I look at my side, about to say hi to him. But.

A woman? I look confuse. A woman come out from his apartment. And is not his girlfriend. The woman look at me and look at me confuse. Well of course she's confuse, because a strange woman look at her.

I immediately lock my doors and storm out the apartment building. With a lot of question that I should not try to answer.

In the library

Is Eric cheating? well, i do not know him well. Its also none of my business, but I am just curious. How come he is cheating when he has a beautiful woman in her side. Men.... I gues....

I sigh.

"Hi."

I blank out, I think someone say hi to me.

"Hi." then another heir come from my side.

"Oh. Hi." I replied.

He sit beside me.

"My name Chris." he introduce himself.

"Hi, I am Lucy."

"Do you read the group chat of the Business Development class?"

"Group chat?" then I open my phone. And there is a lot of notification in that group the pinned message from the teacher assistant

- Form a group consist of 2 people before the class. We will give the theme project for each group for the last assignment of the class. -

"So, I read it in the library and notice I think you are in the class to. Just want to ask whether you want to be in a group with me?"he asked.

I looked at him, I am not really sure I know him. But since I also do not have any friends in the class too. I guess it should be okay to form a group with him.

"Okay, I guess. Thanks for invited me in." I replied.

"No. Its my pleasure. I do not have any friends in that class too. Because I just got back from my one year leave."

"Oh. okay. Thats why I am not sure you were in the same year with me."

"Yup... So, Do you want to go to class together? It almost 10."

"Ah yess, lets go." I have not in the right mind, when I planned to study in the library before class. But a mystery woman that come out from Eric's apartment occupied my mind earlier.

I put my books in my back and join him to the class.
