The Enchanted Forest

I never knew that my life would take a different turn after I entered The Enchanted Forest. The forest was a hunting ground at day but forbidden at night. It was said that creatures lived in the forest and for the people that went in to the forest would never been seen walking out again. As a hunting ground, it seemed that the forest never ran out of resources and it was kind of intriguing for me.

The village I lived in was a peaceful village at day and graveyard at night. People would go hunting and brought the hunting resources back to village either being consumed or being sold outside the village for a great price. Our village was independent on its own because of the resources we sold outside. When the blue sky began to turn darker and the the night came, the villagers would rush into their houses and locked them, not even a single window was opened.

Out of curiosity, one day I asked my parents about the forest that seemed to be sacred. At first, they did not want to tell me anything, but after I threatened to go there at night, they told me the secret they had been carrying for years.

It turned out I had an older sister named Alicia and she was sixteen when it happened. The forest used to be a playing ground for children and my sister liked to sit under one of the biggest tree at the center of the forest, around fifteen minutes walk from the entrance of the forest. She went there bringing a book and would spend hours in the forest then be home before the sun set.

My parents never suspected anything until one day my sister confessed that she was pregnant. My  parents were shocked with the confession as they never knew that she was close with any guy in the village. My parents forced her to tell them who was the baby's father but my sister refused to tell them. My parents then assumed it was one of the guy in the village. After my parents told the village head about the turn of event, the villagers gathered all the guys they could find and mature enough to have made her pregnant.

Alicia was told to look at the guys and three of the wisest people were asked to look at the change of her expression or attitude. Alicia never changed her expression or attitude even after looking all the guys that the villagers gathered.

"It was my child."

Suddenly a voice with a figure emerged from the forest and everybody looked towards the source of the voice. It was a man and he was very attractive that all the women in the village, young or old, fell into his attractiveness. The man walked towards the villagers then stop in the middle of the crowd and began to make an announcement.

"It was I that made this woman pregnant and I would take her and some other women with me."
