Chapter Twenty ThreeThodon waited alone, he liked the peace for a time. It gave him a chance to recharge and get something to eat. He waved his hand in the air, a thin blue line appeared below his hand. He reached inside and pulled out a sandwich.
“Finally,” he said and started to eat. It was good and it was the first thing he'd really eaten all day. Those vampires might only need blood to live but he needed a little more and didn't want to go on to the menu. He hoped they had found something to eat because it wouldn't be much longer before he had no choice but to defend himself.
His sandwich didn't take very long to finish off, he reached into the line again and pulled out a bottle of water. It wasn't his favorite choice but this was no time to drink anything that was going to mess with
