I'm getting ready in my room to go to my date. I didn't tell my mother or my sister that I would be going to the party, but at this hour they must be asleep, and since they are so dramatic, I'm sure if I told them, they wouldn't let me go. I finish fastening the last earring when I hear a knock on the door and peek through the peephole to see who it is.
