Chapter 3. {Tielar POV}  Reggie and I had decided to meet at Dinosaur Coffee in Silver Lake. I brought my laptop to distract myself while I waited for him. The first thing I noticed in LA was how EXTRA everything was. They had a minimalistic look with accents of, well, bougie. This was going to take some adjustment. I turned my attention to my laptop and started looking for rentals, waiting for Reggie.  “Excuse me, miss, is this seat taken?” a deep, sexy voice asked.  I looked up towards to the voice and was instantly breathless. This man had to be the most attractive person I have ever seen. He was tall, at least 6’2, tanned skin that contoured every ripple of his muscles, striking blue eyes, dark hair long enough to run your hands through and a close cut beard with speckles of red in it. I visibly gulped and tried to search for words. The stranger smiled and sat down, “I won’t take it as a no, but I’ve been watching you for a couple minutes, I know it’s weird, but I needed to meet you.” He never broke eye contact, which is a first, most guys immediately let their eyes drops to my cleavage. Not him. He reached out his hand to me “I’m Mason, and you are?” I took his hand and tried to catch my breath, “Tielar” I responded as steady as possible.  He smiled, “Tielar” hearing his name on his lips made me squirm. “That’s pretty.” I smiled back at him and took my hand back. I couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful face. I’ve seen attractive men but he instantly did something to me. “Mason, I like that too.” I closed my laptop and picked up my tea. He was still making eye contact with me. I crossed my legs to try to contain the wetness that was beginning to build up. “So, what can I do for you, Mason?” I raised an eyebrow at him and took a sip of my drink. I was slow to raise the cup to my lips, I wanted him to notice me.  He folded his hands around his own cup and finally broke eye contact, looking at my lips. He closed his eyes and inhaled, flaring his nostrils. “Well, Tielar, I think that you are beautiful. I’m sure you hear that alot, but that’s obvious. While I would love to whisk you away at this very moment, I don’t think you’re that type of girl. So, I want to take your number and give you mine, and if you are up for it, I want to take you on a date. I want to know everything about you and more.” He smirked at me. “Now, if you can stop undressing me with your eyes, we can exchange numbers and I can let you get back to whatever it was you were doing?” I didn’t feel myself letting my eyes trail down to his arms and outline of his pecs through his t-shirt. s**t. I just nodded my head and took a pen from my purse, jotting down my name and number on a napkin and sliding it to him.  “Here. I like a man that is forward, and I hope you can appreciate someone that is too. I would love to get to know you in all aspects, because Mason, you’re beautiful too. And yes, I was undressing you with my eyes, I apologize. Hard to resist.” I smirked at him. His jaw dropped but he quickly recomposed himself.  “Expect a text, tonight. Maybe we can practice the undressing, but it will be worth the wait.” He took the napkin and stood up. “I will talk to you in a few hours.” He winked at me and walked out the door.  I didn’t even see Reggie sit down until I heard him “Damn girl, he is FOINE!” I nodded my head and turned my attention to Reggie. He wasn’t wrong about his description of himself. Before me was a 6’4 buff man with dark skin and very obviously gay. I smiled at him. “You must be Reggie.” I extended my hand to him. He took it and kissed my hand. “I am, indeed. Tielar, look at you! Even more beautiful in person!” I blushed at him. “Reginald Everton, but don’t call me Reginald. You can call me Reg or Reggie. OR fairy godfather, ‘cause that’s what I can be.” I chuckled at his comment.  We dove into a two hour long conversation, splitting a pastry and laughing. I decided I like him enough to make him my agent. After discussing terms and coming to an agreement we shook hands and agreed to talk tomorrow and set a time to sign the paperwork. We were gathering our things and cleaning off the table getting ready to leave when Mason came back through the door. I glanced at Reggie who just looked at me and chuckled. “Girl go get yours” he whispered and winked at me. He grabbed his bag and keys and walked to the door, pausing next to Mason. “You hurt her, I’ll kill ya.” He said in a deep, masculine new york accent and walked out the door. I smirked and grabbed my stuff, slinging my bag over my shoulder.  Mason was standing by the door with his hands in his pockets. I walked over to him, “Hey there” I said with a smile. He smiled back at me. “I couldn’t wait. I’m sorry. Let’s take a walk?” He raised an eyebrow at me. I just nodded my head. He opened the door of the coffee shop with one hand and placed his other on the small of my back, guiding me out. I felt the instant sparks and my insides melted. Woah.
