The Seven Founding Fathers Revitalize the Kingdom

What was once a meeting for new initiatives turns suddenly into a court hearing. George and Jay who were seated in the front as the noble looked down at them dubiously. They can’t help but remain firm in their seats. Suddenly, a guard from the Royal Palace entered the hall carrying a translucent orb in their hands.

“This is the Orb of Truth. A magic item that sees through your mind to confirm the validity of your claims, meaning if you proved to use that you are not the real King and noble. Then necessary actions will befall you. But, after seeing your previous works on how you industrialized our kingdom that benefits its people. We might as well consider your position under strict scrutiny. Remember, the people don't know that their king is not a prince they know of.”

Hendrix flamboyantly explained the use of the Orb of Truth, The two casually nodded, committed to using the magic item.

“Should I be hooked onto something?” George asked.

“No, you will just place your hand over it. One person is enough.” Hendrix replied.

George glances at Jay indicating that he must be the one to testify. Jay nodded and the two are now in agreement.

“Then, on behalf of my fellow colleagues in our previous world and as their leader. I must be the one to show to you our past lives. Please get a hold on to something. It's gonna be a long story”

George said fluidly and began to place his hands onto the Orb of Truth. The translucent orb began to shine bright red and projected a virtual image overhead. The projected image can be seen from all directions and it's big enough to see the contents of it. He then showed all the things that he needs to show them.

After one hour of movie screening about their past life. George tried to make it oversimplified.

The atmosphere in the hall began to change solemnly. Some nobles are surprised others are teary-eyed. Showing such their cruel past about their family made them feel pity towards them.

“The Orb of Truth is absolute, it will show the person’s memories even if the user tried his best to contain it. There is no secret kept in the Orb of Truth. Meaning, all the images you saw are real.” Hendrix said.

“They are really from another world like the hero summoned in the East. Judging from their world, it seems to me they came from an advanced world.” The noble said.

“In addition, they called themselves the founding fathers since they were influential during their times. Especially George, who is the current president of the world’s superpower in their world.”

“Their credibility is so strong. It would be a waste if we did not use this.”

That’s because they are the influential individuals that helped shape their advanced world. Even though Lumi was told beforehand about their identity. Seeing it with live images convinced her even more.

“Now that you have seen our lives in our past life. Can we now know what will happen to the seven of us?” Jay spoke, disrupting their conversations another.

Hendrix stood up and declared, “Now, everyone seeing their past life tells us that they are not a threat to the kingdom. They died in their world and got resurrected here in the form of a mischievous group in the kingdom. Seeing their accomplishments since the day he took the throne. What we just saw is a miracle. They are adapting their laws here and even improving our way of life. Then as one of the high ranking nobles in the kingdom of Ametus. I heed to all of you that the seven founding fathers retain their position and do their utmost job to improve this country in King’s George Ametus reign.”

“I also agree. We should consider their accomplishment in the last three months. Their reforms, new laws, and projects look promising. After seeing all that in the Orb of Truth made me believe more.”

“Exactly, but should we inform this to the people?”

“No, this is a national secret. We should keep this information inside the lid. All of you who witness the real identity of the founding fathers are subject to sign a nondisclosure form. Anyone who leaked this information will be charged for treason.”

“Then, are we all in agreement that we should keep their position and run the country?”

Every noble raised their hands.

“Then it's settled,” Hendrix said. “However, we will also keep the dukes and the duchess in the loop about this matter. Remember founding fathers. Your position is under strict scrutiny.”

“Then with that settled, I suggest that we move on to the initiatives of industrializing the kingdom to boost its national power,” George said and began the meeting as nothing happened.

Three hours later. They all agreed to the terms proposed by George’s. With all that aside. He called an emergency meeting, calling all his cabinet members except the minister of education.

George explained to them what happened earlier and all of them were shocked by hearing the news regarding the development of their identity.

“Shouldn’t you ask us first before you start telling them about our past lives?” Adams protested, he seemed to be clearly displeased.

“They found us out. What do you think will happen if we remain shut?” George said.

“Anyway, the most important thing is that they let us stay in our position so work as usual.” Jay continued. “The revitalization act is still underway.”

“I agree on telling them about our identity but if the populace were to know our real identity. There will be chaos.” Benjamin warned.

“We already considered that before we spoke the truth.” George said, “We just need to gain their favors to the point that they will never mind if the king is the real or not. It will work I promise.”

“So what happened at the meeting?” John asked.

“Everything is settled, I already formed a council and committee to oversee our projects. Allocation of funds is settled also. New technologies proposed by us are being reviewed by the companies. We should hear from them in one week. Regarding laws and reforms. They are now submitted in the congress and are waiting for their signatures.” George said fluidly.

“George, will we transform this country into a democratic one?” Adams asked cautiously.

“Of course, that’s the American thing to do. But it's not suitable for this era yet. Maybe in twenty years where our youths have now accessed education.”

“Speaking of education, the school is now nearing its completion. With the help of the other companies. Equipment, tools, apparatus, et cetera are completed. I already built 15,000 computers for the faculty members, students, guards, researchers to use. I only need a company that will take the offer of a technological company so we can mass-produce them.”

“Don’t worry Benjamin. The plan is moving in our direction. I can’t believe that we industrialize this country in a matter of months. We are cheating our way to the modern world.” Jay replied

“Everyone I expect of you to do your very best! We have a VIP guest coming in a week. We will do our best to surprise them with a bit of our technology from the modern world.”
