Office WorkConnor put the phone down, ending his latest conversation with Charles Carrick. The West Midlands detective had been more than a little unhappy to say the least when he'd been removed from the David Arnold inquiry. He knew of course that the decision had been made further up the ladder of police hierarchy and that there was nothing that either he or Sean Connor could do about it, but at least the two could commiserate with each other.
