Isabella POV . The music was pulsating, and the crowd was dancing wildly. We made our way to the bar, and Mirabel ordered us a round of drinks. As we sipped our cocktails, I felt the music take over, and my worries began to fade away. Mirabel grabbed my hand, and we hit the dance floor, losing ourselves in the rhythm and the night. The DJ was spinning a hot track, and the crowd was singing along. I let go of my inhibitions and danced like nobody was watching. Mirabel was right behind me, cheering me on and dancing in sync with me. For a few hours, I forgot about my mom's betrayal, my dad's death, and the impending move to New York. All that mattered was the music, the moment, and my best friend by my side. As the night wore on heatly, we took breaks to grab drinks and catch our breath. Mirabel was laughing and joking, and I couldn't help but smile. She was the one person who knew how to bring me out of my shell. But as the night reached its peak, I felt a strange sensation – like someone was watching me. I scanned the crowd, but everyone seemed too caught up in their own world. I shrugged it off, attributing it to the music and the lights, " Guess who visited America today" Mira said and I raise my eyebrows, thinking about who it might be, but nothing seems to come my head, I guess the drink was taking over gradually, The light of the club suddenly switch to red, and the crowd went wild again , " common girl let hit the dancing floor again, maybe you can find your mate here " Mira joke and I chuckled, " you haven't gotten so why will I, go let me catch my breath, I will be here waiting" I said and she nod, she took the small short , drinking the wine before going to join the crowd, I smile at how free sprite she is, well she is an orphan, will met at school and since then will have been best of friends, inseparable, I took a sip of the drink and my stomach hurts, maybe because I was hold myself not to peel, but I don't think I can anymore, I will just hurried up, before Mira comes looking for me. As I turned to make my way to the restroom, I felt a sudden jolt of surprise. Standing a few feet away from me, sipping on a drink and gazing directly at me, was a guy I had never seen before. He was tall, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to see right through me. His dark hair was styled perfectly, and his chiseled features made him look like a model. I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as our eyes met, and for a moment, we just stared at each other. I couldn't help but wonder if he was the one who had been watching me earlier. Mirabel's voice broke the spell, calling out to me from the dance floor. "Isa, come on! Let's dance!" she shouted, waving her hands in the air. But I couldn't tear my eyes away from the mysterious stranger. He raised his glass in a silent toast, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. Suddenly, the drink in my hand seemed like a bad idea. My stomach was churning, and my head was spinning. Maybe it was time to call it a night... I hurried towards the restroom, my stomach churning with every step. I pushed open the door and rushed into a stall, barely making it before I let out the contents of my stomach. The drink had seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I was regretting it. As I stood there, trying to catch my breath, I heard the sound of heels clicking on the floor. The door to the stall next to me opened, and I heard Mirabel's voice. "Isa, girl, you okay in there? You sounded like you were dying." I flushed the toilet and stepped out, rinsing my mouth with water. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little too much to drink, I think," I replied, trying to play it off. Mirabel raised an eyebrow. "You sure you're okay? You look a little green around the gills." I nodded, taking a deep breath. "I'm fine, really. Let's just get out of here and get some fresh air, okay?" Mirabel nodded, concern etched on her face. "Okay, let's get out of here. I'll drive you home." As we left the restroom, I scanned the crowd, feeling a little more aware of my surroundings now that I'd thrown up. That's when I saw him again – the guy with the piercing blue eyes. He was standing by the bar, watching me with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. " You know him ?" Mira said behind me and I quickly look away, " not at all , he has been staring at me since will got here " I said and she nodded with a knowing smile. " What now, why are you smiling?" I ask as will made our way to the counter to clear our bills, " well that there is Alexander the popular playboy, he doesn't joke with anything under a skirt, and he likes girls like you, arravage, beautiful and sexy so you are certainly his type" Mira said and I scoff, I turned back again and two girls where already kissing him , while he light up his cigarettes, he is definitely a very bad boy, " But too sad he changes girls like cloth, you shouldn't fall for that hot face, cause you will get your poor heart broken in different pieces" Mira whisper and I turn away, not to lie he is handsome, but a whole certainly not my type, I won't pray for a mate like this never, I pity his mate, she will have to cry daily. " Dose he have a mate ?" I ask Mira who seem to know him so well and she laughed, " that funny the answer is no, and even though he has , he won't still keep his middle one place, he is rich so let Just say f*****g his one of his hubby" she said and I laughed, As we settled the bill and made our way out of the club, the cool night air hit me like a slap in the face, making me feel a little more alert. Mirabel was chatting away, still talking about Alexander, but I tuned her out, my mind wandering back to the feeling I had earlier, it was sweet and refreshing and as if I got my wolf reaction, but it disappear like it never happened. As we walked to the car, I couldn't help but glance back at the club, wondering if I'd see him again. But he was nowhere to be seen, lost in the sea of people. Mirabel drove me home, the silence between us comfortable. When we arrived at my mansion, she turned to me with a concerned expression. "You sure you're okay, Isa? You didn't seem yourself tonight." I smiled weakly. "I'm fine, Mira. Just a little too much to drink, like I said." Mirabel nodded, but I could tell she didn't entirely believe me. "Call me if you need anything, okay? I'll be here for you, no matter what." I thanked her and got out of the car, watching as she drove away. The house was dark and quiet, a stark contrast to the vibrant nightclub we'd just left. I let myself in, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. As I made my way to my room, I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was about to change in ways I couldn't even imagine. Something in me tells me the move to New York was just the beginning... As I lay in bed, my mind refused to shut down. Thoughts swirled about my soon to be new home, my mom, and the impending move. The feeling I had earlier lingered, like a whisper in my ear that I couldn't quite decipher. I tossed and turned, my wolf senses still on high alert. The moon was full outside, casting an ethereal glow over my room. I felt restless, like my body was trying to tell me something. Suddenly, I threw off the covers and got out of bed. I needed to clear my head. I walked to the window, gazing out at the moonlit night. The world seemed vast and mysterious, full of secrets waiting to be uncovered. As I stood there, I felt it again – that strange sensation, like my wolf was trying to surface. I closed my eyes, letting the feeling wash over me. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at once. The moon's pull was strong, and I could feel my body responding. My senses heightened, and I felt more alive than I had in weeks. Maybe it was the move, or maybe it was something more. Whatever it was, I knew my life was about to take a dramatic turn. The question was, would I be ready ?.
