Chapter 6.1
After taking a bath, she emerged from the bathroom without wiping off anything. Heart wanted to disappoint Mister K so he wouldn’t come back to her. She went to the vanity mirror and grabbed her pills, placing three in her palm. Maybe if she took all of them, she wouldn’t wake up for a week. Just one. She hurriedly went to the kitchen to get water. Heart felt like she was sweating ice water. She still didn’t want to do what was about to happen, to give away her purity to a man she didn’t love or even know. “What’s wrong, Heart? Are you going to keep doing this?” She chastised herself as she lay down on the bed, holding her blindfold.
She gazed at the ceiling, waiting to fall asleep. She kept swallowing her saliva, feeling her heartbeat. Her chest pounded when she wrapped hers
