After the exchange with Ivana, both Brooke and I had extremely high hopes of finding our pup. Now that we had a lead and a photograph of what this witch Hailey looked like. In the meantime, I wanted to spend time with Brooke until we initiated the search on our end. I had Michael contact an old-time friend on the east coast just to get a decent head start.
While I waited to hear back from Michael's contact, I escorted Brooke to my room and ran a bubble bath for her. After today’s events at the Summit, I could tell she was exhausted, but being the stubborn she-wolf she was, Brooke would never show it.
I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind, grabbing the hem of her shirt. I slowly pulled it off of her. “Love,” I whispered into her ear.
