Michael, his mate Michelle and I made our way back with two unconscious City Moon Wolves in tow. We strapped them to two sleds and had Brooke's pack members pull these toward her location. The forest was filled with growls and snarling as we passed through.
"What the hell is going on? How many of these wolves are here?" I thought as Hunter picked up the pace.
I glanced behind me to keep track of where everyone was before turning back to face the trail. The pitter-patter of our feet fell silent as the sky began to shift from its overcast and darkened clouds to clear yet darkened skies with hues of green, oranges, and pinks.
Shit, Brooke is using her power. We need to get to her now!
