Ava's POV

Jake's question caught me off guard but I understand where he is coming from. He spent the last six days thinking I was scared of him.

And the feeling of being in his arms with my feelings out in the open did feel great, so why not spend the weekend basking in this feeling. " I will ask mom and dad if it's okay but I don't think they will mind if I do stay." I told him finally finding a comftable spot.

" I will call them now." " Or we could go over and get my clothes and then tell them so they can't say no to me staying the weekend." Jake laughed.

it had been awhile since I heard it. And it was still one of my favourite sounds in the world." Okay but I wanna cuddle some more first then we can go. Wait what if they ask why you are asking to stay with me after the whole moving thing and me asking them not to tell you where I live."

Jake said nestling his head into my neck." We will just say we made up and want to bond to get over that " I told Jake rubbing his scalp.

We stayed like that just in each other's arms for little over an hour when my phone started ringing and it was mom I pressed the green button and put it on speaker mom's voice immediately roared though my phone's speaker.

Ava Alexandria Maxwell. Where are you school finished about an hour and a half ago. Where are you?" Mom asked harshly I understand completely where she is coming from.

" Uhm, Mom I went over to Jake's apartment and we made up and lost track of time. And we were actually hoping that I can stay here for the weekend."

I know I'm playing a dangerous game but knownestly spending a weekend with Jake seemed like just what the doctor ordered after the week I had.

The other line was dead silent I could feel the anxiousness raising inside of me." Okay sweetie, I am just glad you two could make up. Twins don't stay mad at each other. I will bring your clothes or Jacob's, your closet is filled with his T-shirts and hoddies."

Mom can exaggerate sometimes." Mom , Jake gave them up willingly for the record and thank you." I told mom before hanging up the phone and going back to cuddling.
