376 Words
Ava's POV The pain only got worse when he said goodbye. It felt like my heart was ripped out. He no longer wanted anything to do with me. Right now I wished he hadn't kissed me or go to before I kissed him would be better. Me and my stupid heart just had to go and love him more than my brother. I moved from the floor to my bed. Jake was more than my brother me being anti-social he was my best friend, the guy who's always there to defend me, make me laugh, smile and just make me happy. Now he was gone and what's worse he was repulsed by me , found me disgusting what I feared the most happened. I always feared being judged by society and our parents. But the reason I never told Jake about my feelings is because I feared to lose him and for him to judge me like I knew everyone else would. I ended up crying myself to sleep. I woke up around nine the next morning it being Sunday meant I could stay inside my room without distributing me. But I eventually had to go and face the fact my brother found me repulsing. My heart was still in pieces but still , I couldn't accept that. When I went to go open my curtains. I saw a bunch of white roses on my desk my favourite with a note among them. My name was on the envelope The letter read : I know you will never forgive me. But just know that it was a mistake. I didn't mean to hurt or scare you. But I understand that the only reason you kissed me back was out fear of what I might do if you didn't. So you don't have to live in fear of me since I'm moving out. Hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me Love Jacob My brother was an i***t. That's all I could think of when reading Jake's note. He completely misunderstood why I kissed him back, No wonder he did this. He thought he hurt me and that I was scared of him. But even so I was grateful he didn't find me disgusting
