As I reached for the knob to open grandma's room door, I had a huge grin on my face. I was always excited about seeing her again after a week. However, when I pushed the door open, I was completely taken aback. There was no sign of Grandma in her bed.
‘‘Maye!’’ As I entered inside the room and began searching for grandma's nanny, I yelled out in a state of panic. Maye was nowhere to be found too, and my voice got louder as I called at them again. ‘‘Maye! Grandma!’’
I opened the door again and stepped out, but I was startled when I bumped into someone.
‘‘Miss Sinclair!’’ The nurse exclaimed, expressing the same surprise that I had upon seeing her.
‘‘Where’s my grandmother?’’ I asked, my heart was beating fast. ''Where did you take grandma?''
