The chocolate pudding that Katrina made tasted just as delicious as the strawberry cake that we had baked earlier.
‘‘I’m so happy that you enjoyed it…’’ She grinned as she finished eating her pudding. She put her empty plate on top of mine and I smiled, watching her.
‘‘Of course…’’ I shrugged. ‘‘It’s my new favorite now…’’
Upon hearing what I had just stated, she frowned. ‘‘Why? What’s your favorite before?’’
My smile slowly faded. ‘‘Uh… you mean to say, what was my favorite dessert before?’’ I asked, falling into a profound thought. ‘‘Ice cream…? Yeah…’’ I nodded, smiling again. ‘‘Chocolate chip cookie dough is my favorite flavour of ice cream, but now… it’s your pudding that I love!’’
