“Same,” Tyler said and Rose smiled. “I see you met my mom,” Rose said and Tyler chuckled but nodded. “She’s a spitfire, so I can see where you get it from. There’s a prescription I told her I wanted to try for her, just in case she doesn’t tell you.” “Thanks. I’ll make sure we grab it on the way out of town.” Rose led her mom outside, the waiting area getting full. “I like him, Rose, that’s a man you need.” Rose rolled her eyes to herself, everyone in the room hearing, including Tyler. He wasn’t a bad guy, and he even apologized, but first impressions are the real impressions no matter what and that’s what stuck. Of course, Rose wouldn’t tell her mom what happened, she wasn’t that crazy. “Thanks, mom, but I’m okay.” Rose helped her mom in, made sure to pick up the prescription, and he
