'Surprise', wasn’t even the word I’m looking for at the moment. There was a whole Leprechaun battalion kneeling in front of us on one knee and head bowed down in respect. Inadvertently a gasp escaped me as I took in the scene and as my eyes moved towards my mate, I saw a devilish smirk, unlike his usual teasing one. He was rubbing it on me, when clearly never meant anything the way he took it. I just shook my head in disbelief and looked away now pissed with his demeanor.
“What are you pissed at now?” Vann exasperated.
“Right now, I’m pissed at your attitude, my dearest arrogant husband!” I spat.
