**Cahaya (POV)**

“The dark influence!” Adri shrieked.
“What?” Everyone asked together.
“It isn’t smoke! It’s the dark influence, I read it just this morning in Cahaya’s room. One of the books, the headmaster gave her, spoke of identifying dark magic and its types. That, being my power, I studied it! When a dark influence is lifted, a dark cloud, like smoke, emits through the person affected!” Adri rushed into explaining. “But this is strong, very strong!”
Cahan lost his balance, but I kept him steady. His eyes drooped and his breathing came harder, he heaved before he fell unconscious.
“His brain shut down, Princess! He needs time to rest and digest the information.” Sky told me, I nodded.
“Let’s take him to Cahaya’s room. He’ll not be as overwhelmed then.”
