Chapter 12: A Lifetime of Love

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Ella and Max sat on the beach, watching the stars twinkle to life. They had spent the day exploring the island, holding hands, and laughing together.

Now, as they sat in comfortable silence, Ella felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she had found her soulmate in Max, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together.

As they sat there, Max turned to Ella with a serious expression. "Ella, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were special," Max said, his voice low and husky. "You light up my world in ways that I never thought possible."

Ella's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Max's eyes. She saw the love and adoration there, and she knew that she felt the same way.

"Max, I love you too," Ella said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You make me feel seen and heard in ways that no one else ever has."

Max smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm so grateful for that day we met at the bakery," Max said. "I was lost and alone, but you found me and brought me back to life."

Ella's eyes filled with tears as she looked at Max. She knew that she had found her forever love in him, and she was grateful for every moment they spent together.

As they sat on the beach, watching the stars twinkle overhead, Ella knew that she and Max would spend the rest of their lives making memories together. They would laugh, cry, and explore the world together, always knowing that they had found their soulmate in each other.

The next morning, Ella and Max woke up early, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. They spent the day exploring the island, holding hands, and laughing together.

As they walked along the beach, Max turned to Ella with a mischievous grin. "I have a surprise for you," Max said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Ella's eyes widened with curiosity. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Max chuckled. "You'll just have to wait and see," he said, leading Ella to a secluded cove.

As they reached the cove, Ella gasped in surprise. There, in the middle of the cove, was a beautiful sailboat, decorated with flowers and balloons.

"I rented it for the day," Max said, his eyes shining with excitement. "I want to take you on a romantic sail around the island."

Ella's heart melted at the romantic gesture. "I'd love to," she said, throwing her arms around Max's neck.

As they set sail, Ella and Max felt like they were on top of the world. They laughed, kissed, and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the island.

As the sun began to set, Max turned to Ella with a serious expression. "Ella, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were the one for me," Max said, his voice low and husky. "Will you marry me?"

Ella's eyes widened in surprise, and she felt tears of joy streaming down her face. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!" she exclaimed, as Max placed the ring on her finger.

As they hugged and kissed, Ella knew that she had found her forever love in Max. She had found a love that would last a lifetime, a love that would take her on adventures and keep her warm at night.
