I watch as he gets into his car. There's a minute long pause before he pulls onto the road and speeds off, causing my stomach to drop. I turn to find Eli holding open the door for me, staring with an apologetic look on his face. "Hey..." I walk past him.
"Hi," I mumble. His eyes flit between both of mine and a small frown makes its way onto his face.
"Are you okay?" I walk alongside him to the elevators.
"Yeah," I sniffle. "We were just...arguing."
"My shirtlessness probably didn't help the situation," he comments, which earns a quick shrug from me. "I just...puked on myself."
