71. Athena The thought of going into the backyard sent shivers down my spine. My body tensed at the memory, my mind unwilling to revisit the trauma of that day. But as much as I tried to convince myself otherwise, fear gnawed at the edges of my resolve. I was fearful of what would happen to Raven if she were to chance on Lorenzo or his men doing what they were doing that day. Still, I reminded myself of what Lorenzo had done for me today.
