137. Athena “He will know when the time is right,” Diego interjected firmly, his tone resolute. Both Claudia and I turned toward him, disbelief etched on her face. “No! He should and will never find out,” she insisted, her voice rising in defiance. “He can’t find out!” The finality in her tone left no room for argument, her determination unyielding. The tension simmered between us, heavy and unresolved and I hated to be caught in this crossfire between these secret lovers.
