Mackenzie's P.O.V.
"Where are we going?" I ask Johnny after he gets into the drivers' seat and I hop in beside him.
"Patience Frances." He only replies and starts the engine.
I furrow my eyebrows at him. What the heck is he up to now? I told him I'd take a ride from Nora but he didn't let me and now he's taking me God knows where.
Its like 9:15 pm and there is darkness all around. He takes the route of the highway and keeps on driving. After a silent ride, he stops the car.
I'd ask him where are we but it wasn't needed as I saw that there was sand a few feet away. And after that, the ocean. "What are we doing at the beach?"
