Amanda P.O.V  As soon as that sl*t left I felt relief and my fists loosened but only slightly, part is annoyed by the fact he let her touch him, but also happy that he sent her out. My feelings are messed up at the moment and I don't like it. Damian walks around the desk and towards me while I'm internally distracted by Audrey's threat.  Flashback "GET OUT." Damian commands clamly. Audrey doesn't disobey this time, she rushes by Damian straight past me and whispers in a low menacing voice so that Damian can't hear. "You're dead meat B*tch." We're her last words before exiting the office. Flashback Ends I shudder at the thought. 'She doesn't mean it literally. Does she?' He takes hold of both my arms and I flinch back under his gaze, as if he's searching for something averting my thoughts elsewhere. "What did she say to you?" "Nothing." My voice comes out a little broken. I'm unsure if I should say anything.  "Don't play dumb little mouse. I know she said something to you." "Wh-what makes you say thaaat? He lets go of my arm and slowly places it underneath my jaw gripping it tightly, pulls me closer to his body. He leans forward and I freeze in place. "If don't any punishment I suggest you tell me what she said." I cringe at that thought. I don't to be punished but at the same time I'm afraid to tell, he's never helped me before so why should he start now. I saddens to think of it. He leans further down till we're only a breath way. 'Oh god he's not going to kiss me is he.' Instinctively I close my eyes in anticipation of his kiss, but, nothing happens. I open my eyes and he starts chuckling, don't tell me, he was playing with me again. He pulls away as I mentally face palm myself, 'he tricked me and I fell for it, again, I should have known, but I feel at a loss to, it's like part of me was hoping for it, no you told Eric you would only stay not anything else.' "As punishment for staying quiet you will arrange all the files in those cabinets by Alphabet and date." "All those? Are you insane?" "Maybe?"  He sits back at his desk smirking at me. I stand there and cross my arms as I glare at him. 'To think I cooked breakfast for him this morning.' "Oh did I forget to mention that they need to be done by the end of the day." "What?" I look over to the huge cabinets against the walls in awe. "Now chop chop." "I hate you." "I like you to honey." 'Gaaahhhh.' *********** 'This is taking too long.' I groan as I sit on the floor with these files. There's five large cabinets scattered around and after a six hours of work I'm still not done. 'I want a break, my head is fried, who would have thought the files will be so messed up, good thing that Damian stepped out for a meeting so I can have some peace at last. As I keep looking through the files and placing them in their proper place one seems to slip from my grasp, 'Dang it.' I reach over to pick it up, but find it's not a file but a powder blue notebook. I open it up and start reading containing personal thoughts, judging by the year, pretty recent. 'The question is, how did it end up here?' Suddenly it's pulled from my hands. "Having fun?" I look in the direction of the voice, startled to say the least. Laura? Not who I was expecting. She takes a quick look at the contents, anger came upon her face as she quickly perused it. "Hey want to get out of here?" "I can't your brother told me to organise these files by the end of the day." She clutches the diary at her side very tightly. "Push posh. That's not your job. Now come with me." "I can't your brother will have my head." "Don't worry I'll handle him, and you deserve a break." I look around at the piles of paperwork on the floor, then at the clock that read 1:30 in the afternoon. I stand up sighing in defeat.' I do need something to get my mind off today's events, so why not?' "I suppose a little break wouldn't hurt." "Great." She pulls me along with enthusiasm taking me to what I think is her room. Laura pulls me into her room and says she'll only be a moment as she goes into her private bathroom with the diary. I pay no it no mind as I marvel at the sight of her gorgeous interior. It's a large room with a private balcony, pink painted walls a A queen size bed with a canopy draped over it and a large walk in wardrobe and a home theatre system of her very own, I am so jealous, here she gets all this room to herself while I have to share with her monster of a brother, life can be unfair sometimes. I wonder to a desk near the bed and spot some photos sitting in silver frames. One of the photos contains a couple who are smiling happily. The woman bears an uncanny resemblance to Damian whereas the man has Laura's eyes and hair colour. 'It's gotta be Damian and Laura's parents!' I raise my hand slowly, to reach out to pick up the photo. "Are you okay?" I pull back and look at Laura who just came out without the notebook. "Fine. So what are we doing?" I change the subject before it begins, forgetting my earlier thought about the diary. "I thought we could watch a couple movies and go nuts on junk food." "Oh so we're not having a lesson today?" "No I think you've worked enough for one day." I agree to her suggestion by nodding my head as we go, to pick some snacks from the kitchen and choose the movies. "What do you say to a Disney film?" I light up instantly at hearing those words, it's been so long since I've seen them. "Absolutely." ************* Seven Hours Later "Tale as old as time. Song as old as rhyme. Beauty and the Beast." Laura and I finish singing the song as it roles to the credits. I start laughing at how bad our voices are, 'no joke, but who cares when the movie is my favourite of all time. It's nice knowing in that someone here has decent taste in films, haha.' "Hey Amanda can I ask you something?" "Sure what is it?" "Do you hate my brother?"
