Chapter 12

Lilian.

It's been days since I've seen Nilian, and I'm honestly pretty upset about it. It's not his fault but mine. After sarsha mother attacked me that night and told me Nilian sent her to do it and the he randomly showed up I didn't know if I could trust him.

I sighed, hurrying off to the principal office as I was called on the monitor a short while ago. When I walked through the reception area and into the office, I was shocked to see our pack Alpha sitting inside looking at a photograph.

It looks like the principal, Alpha, another man and woman. He turns the picture around and gestures to me to sit.

“ You may think that it's quite odd that you were called to the office,” he says.

"Yes sir, it is.”

“I just wanted to check on you, the same way I would check on other members of the pack.”

“I understand.”

He sits and twiddles his thumbs for a bit before asking the strangest questions.

“Do you hear voices?”

Both me and the principle look up at him in shock.

“Am…no sir, I didn't.”

“ Ohh, I mean the voices of your wolf nothing else.” He shuffles.

“No sir I don't.” I answer with a sadness and I guess he caught on to it.

“ It's ok dear, a lot of people dint connect with their wolf for a long, long time.” He shuffles again.

“Ohh.”

“And your eyes, how are you eyes.”

Something seems off, not only has he never checked up on me before but he seems to be asking questions with concern in his voice.

“Is everything alright sir, I'm.a little confused as to what I did wrong “

“Again you did no wrong, just a regular check up.”

He sits up straight and looks me dead in the eyes as if he was looking into the soul of another, and says.

“sei sveglio.”

“Are you awake.” English.

“Sorry, I dint understand.”

“It's nothing…” he stands look at me and at the principal.then leaves.

I look over at the principal who looks at me just as lost and as puzzled as I am, then I left and headed to class.

Spanish class was it's usual boring self, so deciding it wouldn't hurt to give into the nap I feel taking over I place my head on the desk and quickly drift off to sleep.

The bell rings not to long after causing me to jump from the desk grab my books and hurry to math.

As I hurry the hallway, I bump shoulders with someone, I instantly lift my head and apologize.

“It's ok.” She looked at me with a quick glance and ran off quickly.

My eyes then suddenly become glued to the big picture hanging on the wall, it looks like the same picture from the principal's office.

A couple minutes later, I see what looks like 3 of four from the picture rushing down the hall. My mind starts spinning as I tried comprehending what the hell was going on.

Then it hit me I didn't wake up from my sleep but I had woken up from a dream.

“Hey, did Adel pass you by?”

A young Alpha stopped to ask.

I play with her name a little and then he points at the girl in the picture. I look at her and remembered that she was the one I bumped into and pointed them in the direction she had gone.

“Uhh, I'm sure she went to play with magic.” I hear the principal say.

“She says that she could hear them speaking to her.” The other guy says, looking around in confusion.

Just when I was about to ask what they were talking about we all heard a loud scream coming from behind us.

A young girl comes running through the double doors with blood dripping from her arm, It looked like she got burned.

She runs straight into young Alpha's arm, and before you know it the school fire alarm goes off and I jump out of my sleep.
