Nilian I have to admit this studying thing is making it a lot easier for me to understand, I’m not sure if it’s because I have a different teacher. Lilian. Or if it’s because I decided to focus on getting this over with as quickly as possible for her to leave this pack. It’s best she leaves because I can’t do anything for her and she doesn’t want to do anything for herself. I’m still surprised after all that has happened she hasn’t ratted me out. Once we were finished I packed my bags and sat at the edge of her bed unwilling to move. She didn’t pay me much mind and went ahead packing her bag as well. At some point I wonder if this isn’t weird to her me sneaking into her bedroom without telling her I’m coming and then I just don’t bother. “Isn’t this weird to you?” “What.” She responds while shoving a blanket in her bag Me always sneaking into your room so late at night, I mean some girls would jump my bones and some would scream and kick me out. “I like the company and I know you don’t like me so I have nothing to worry about.” “Ohh.” That’s the only response I had. I'm still trying to figure this girl out. I mean she gets beaten, harassed, punished by her mother and is basically lonely except for the one friend I saw she recently got and yet she still chooses to smile and help me. My thoughts get distracted when she yelps out. She crouches over and holds her hand rocking back and forth in a comforting manner. “What’s wrong?” I stand and walk over to her. “It’s nothing.” She stands, shakes her hand and puts her backpack on her shoulder. “You’ll close the window for me when you leave.” She opens her bedroom door and closes it shut behind her. I hurry out the window and jump down just in time to catch her at the entrance of the forest. “Where are you going?” “Into the forest.” She looks at me like I’m stupidy “You know it’s not safe right, to be going in there alone.” “I’ve been doing this for a year now I think I’m Pretty much safe.” “Did you forget the troll incident?” “I didn’t.” She responds and continues walking. Without thinking I hurry behind her. “You decided to come?” She asked parting branches and carefully walking over stones. “Only to protect you because clearly you don’t care.” “I do care, but I also care about this more.” She turns around and shushes me and I roll my eyes. About a half an hour of parting branches and walking over and around rocks passed and I ran out of patience. “Lilian, where are we going?” She shushes me once again. “Lilian stop.” She stops, drops her bag to the floor, opens it up and spreads the blanket on the ground next to her bag. She pulls out two bottles of water and some biscuits and sits looking at the empty area. “This is crazy, your.” She pulls me onto the blanket and points in the empty direction, just as I was about to protest again a pink little light comes out of nowhere. Then a yellow, a purple, an orange and they fill the forest dancing around the trees. “What is this?” “I call it the fairy show, but basically this is where they come out and heal the forest.” She looks at me then looks back at what’s happening. Tiny little fairies dancing around us, one of them even comes up to Lilian and plays in her hair, with her hands but when they noticed me they scattered. Lilian then took her hand and placed it on my shoulder as if she was telling them I’m safe. A little one flew over and bopped me on the nose and when the others saw they followed. Then the most beautiful thing happened, they started singing, in tiny little voices I could hear them singing and I watched as the tree branches and flowers came to life. A couple minutes went by as we laid there when a shift in the atmosphere caught west attention, instantly I placed Lilian behind me as the earth began to shark. Whatever it is, I'm ready.
