Lilian

I wasn’t expecting to see the elderly group or the warriors and worst of them all Sarsha. I’m not sure what she’s doing here, her and nature don’t seem to mix at all.

“How’s about we walk at the back babe.” She grabs Nilian's arm and cups it around hers.

“Your coming alone, cool I’ll get you a safety vest and a pair of sneakers. Those hells wouldn’t work.”

Jim, one of the warriors, says to her.

Uhh no, I’m fine just the way I am. If anything goes wrong I have Alpha strong here to save me.” She pops a kiss on his cheek and looks at me.

Jim looks at her, looks at Alpha and then replies with a dry “ok, suit yourself.” before beginning the tour through the forest.

The walk isn’t the best or suitable for the elderly so I’m not sure who came up with this idea. I mean it’s a forest, it’s bumpy, wet and filled with stones and branches everywhere.

“Who came up with this idea?”

“Your future Luna.” Bryan said.

We both turn around and watch as she try’s hugging and tugging at Nikian like he is the last man on the planet.

“You don’t like her too much, do you?” Bryan asked.

“Ohh… am..”

“It’s ok to admit, we don’t like her much.” He replied.

“I like her, well not that much she hasn’t particularly made my life any easier than it already is. If I’m being honest she has help make it worse by a littler who am I kidding I don’t like her.”

He burst out laughing before slapping me on the shoulder.

“Same old Lilian, always trying to hide her true feelings to not draw attention to herself.”

Bryan and I actually know each other, he was one of the wolves that spoke to me and hung out with me when we first came here.

“I’m sorry, I haven’t been much of a friend.” He said.

“It’s ok, you have your life and I have mine.” He scratched the back of his head.

“So has life gotten any better.” He asked.

“Almost.”

As he was about to respond we heard a snap and a little yelp coming from behind us. When we both turned around we saw Nilian pulling Sarsha from a mud pit.

Looks like her heel snapped and she got stuck.

“What are you looking at?” Her head snaps up and the dragon fire words fire directly at me.

“Stupidity.” One of the elderly women answered back and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Nilian I want to go back.” She looks at him and bathes her eyes.

“We're almost at the stop, you’ll get a ride back once we get there.”

“So how am I going to get to the stop, are you going to carry me.”

“Walk for all we care, but just decide quickly you're keeping us back.” The elderly lady responds and then turns around and walks away.

Nilian then picks her up, she wraps her legs around his waist, puts her head on his shoulder and he walks past us to the front of the line.

“Don’t mind Carrie, she doesn’t like anyone.” He says pointing at the old lady.

Within a couple minutes we made it to the mark where the other warriors were waiting with water and snacks for everyone.

A couple minutes go by and everyone is sitting around talking and laughing. Every now and again I see Nilian would glance in my direction and look away quickly.

“Pretty girl, I’ve never seen you on our walks before.” Miss Light sits next to me on the bench.

“It’s my first time.” I look up from my book and we both make eye contact. Her eyes stare deep into mine and mine deep into hers before I actually notice hers turning green and looking like the eyes of a snake.

“Destiny has replayed itself I see, but this time for the better. Don’t worry what he does next would hurt you but it would be to protect you from thorns trying to harm you. Don’t wake her up from her sleep cause sleeping evil should remain asleep.”

“What?” Her words slip from her lips fast.

“You will stand under the moon amounts thousands and take your rightful place but not before your time. Pain brings results and it’s time for the dormant parts to become active in the water and the earth must become one but for the better. Love, peace, patience and listening makes everything better.” She presses her hand against my skull and I see lights.

It’s like little flashes all over, I see a woman, a man then I see them fighting and trolls, fairies, Nilian covered in blood Sarsha screaming and myself standing.

But before I could say anything a sharp pain almost as if she was trying to c***k my skull open made me scream out and I saw black.

“Lilian.” I blink and see everyone rushing over me.

“Lilian.” Nilian is shaking me.

“Lilian” , a beautiful woman, extends her hand to me.

“Lilian.” A slap across my face brings me to it and I watch as Nilian stands over me, worrying clouding his eyes. Bryan runs over and pulls me to my feet, shoving a bottle of water in my mouth.

“What… What happened.”

“You fainted weirdo.” Sarsha mouths as I take a seat on the bench.

“Hey, hey look at me.” Nilian says sitting next to me.

But I couldn’t look at him, I could only look at her, the old lady that just sat next to me. Who now is sitting on a bench eating like nothing happened.
