Betrayal

Chapter One

     I look towards the door to my room as Sebastian, my pet rat, squeaks and does the pleading trick i taught him. I moan into my pillow before I look up at him over my shoulder. "Whaaaaaaatttt?" I huff at him, annoyed because I know exactly what he wants, I just don't want to get up and give it to him. 

     He turns toward the door, squeaks, and turns back around before pleading again. "Fiiiine! I'm getting up." I stand up before tossing my phone on my pillow. I adjust my navy blue corset and walk towards Sebastian, and therefore the door. "Come on." I say to Seb. He climbs up my pant leg before settling in the pocket of my ripped black jeans. "Why do I even bother to do this again?" I ask while looking at Seb and slightly shaking my head. He bites one of my newly painted nails, done my yours truly, and I shake my hand.

     "Okay, okay!" I say, unable to hold my laughter in. I pull the door open and start down the hallway to the stairs, because of COURSE we have a fully automated five story house with no elevator, and of course I live on the fourth story.
