I haven't heard back from Eli. I tried texting him and calling him. His phone went straight to voicemail or the text would say 'delivered' underneath it. It had me worried. Was he already tired of me or was he... Was he with another? It was so much going on. Not to mention the silent treatment between my mother and father. Putting my phone down, I got off the bed and walked to my bedroom door, unlocking it and opening it, poking my head out. Their bedroom door slammed shut, so of course, I went to go see if everything was alright.
Walking to my parents' door, I knocked on it lightly.
"Mom?" I called to her.
