From the moment they climbed in the truck, Michael talked non-stop about Jessie and how “awesome” she’d been in saving Kipper and helping them. “And she is super smart about dogs. Look, she showed me how to get Kipper to sit!”
As they entered the kitchen, Michael demonstrated by grabbing a piece of dog food and standing in front of Kipper. He put his hand in a fist around the treat. “Sit.” He moved the treat low and over the pup’s head until Kipper’s butt hit the ground, then Michael praised him and gave him the food.
“See? Isn’t that cool! She said if I do it every day, he’ll pick it up real quick! Oh, and to make sure to do it without food sometimes too, so he doesn’t only do it for food. Oh, and she gave us this cool leash. She said it’s called a slip lead because
