In the morning, Jessie decided it was time to take another step towards healing by getting back to work as she told James she planned to do. Theoretically, she could have stopped working for years and been fine financially, thanks to her investments. Even without them, James would take care of her, if she wanted. While he was never one to spoil his siblings, he’d also understand her reluctance to work again.
