Chapter Fourteen Ranker circled the perimeter of the buildings. A soft red light lit up the outside of both buildings. The light was easy on his eyes and helped him see the surrounding area without blinding him. There was a glow of white lights inside both buildings as well. He observed the building that looked more like a living space. There were curtains over the windows, so he could not tell if there was any movement inside. The hour was still early.
